The Director/CEO Department of Petroleum Resource (DPR), Engr. Sarki Auwalu MNSE held a Town Hall meeting at the Warri Zonal Office. Engr. Sarki thanked the staff for their support towards him, since his appointment as the Director.

He emphasised that we are one family and should work as a team. He stated that one of his major objectives is to make DPR more relevant in the Oil and Gas industry within and outside Nigeria.

The Director also emphasised on certification and staff welfare assuring us that he will put the right peg in the right hole, and everyone will be carried along. He stated that we should be more committed than ever before to the Organization, because WE ARE NOT JUST A REGULATOR BUT AN OPPORTUNITY AGENCY, highlighting that DPR provides opportunity through our licences. He also mentioned that his email is open to all for any advice or suggestions on how to grow the Department.
