The Controller, Lagos Zonal Office Engr Ayorinde Cardoso extended his familiarization tour to Navgas Limited in Apapa and Atlas Cove Depot at Takwa Bay.

While addressing the Management at Navgas, he stated that the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, had recently declared 2020 as the year of Gas for the Nation as natural gas has the strong potential to grow the economy as such deemed it necessary for him and his team to visit the depot for a clear understanding of their operations and form a cordial working relationship with the depot owners as well get to understand the challenges they are faced with.

At Atlas Cove depot, the Controller in company of the depot Manager Mr Babatunde Oladotun inspected the ongoing Rehabilitation and Upgrade of System 2B facilities – Atlas Cove Depot Optimization Project and the New Atlas Cove Jetty.

In his response, the Managing Director Navgas Limited Mr Tom Omondi Oduol commended the Controller for showing concern for their operations and also appreciated the work and commitment of DPR Depot staff.
