The Independent Newspaper Award ceremony, held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, witnessed a momentous occasion as the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission was honored with the award of “Regulator of the Year.”

The award was bestowed upon the Commission in recognition of its outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to the regulatory framework governing the Upstream Petroleum sector in Nigeria.

Mr. Paul Osu, the Head of the Lagos Regional office of the NUPRC represented the Commission at the event.

Amidst an atmosphere of celebration and commendation, Mr. Osu, received the award from the Independent Newspaper, marking a significant milestone for the Nigerian regulatory body.
