The Lagos Zonal Operations Controller Engr. Ayo Cardoso met with Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) and Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) recently to deliberate on various operational challenges currently being experienced by both parties in the zone.

One of the key issues discussed was the recent disruption of supply of petroleum products to Retail Outlets in Okokomaiko – Badagry area of Lagos state which was prompted by a directive from PTD prohibiting its members from operating in that area.

Other issues discussed were the need for haulage companies to obtain the requisite Oil and Gas Industry Service Permits to regularize their operations and foster better synergy and coordination with other industry stakeholders.
