President Muhammadu Buhari has declared curfew in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja for a period of two weeks to curb the spread of Covid -19 pandemic .
He made the announcement in a nationwide broadcast to Nigerians on the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him, all citizens in these areas are to stay in their homes saying travel to or from other states should be postponed.
He, however, said commercial establishments such as food processing, distribution and retail companies; petroleum distribution and retail entities, power generation, transmission and distribution companies; and private security companies are exempted
He also said workers in telecommunication companies, broadcasters, print and electronic media staff who can prove they are unable to work from home are also exempted.
