The CEO of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Engr. Sarki Auwalu FNSChE, FNSE received a delegation led by the Commandant, Nigeria Institute for Security Studies, A. S. Adeleke, fsi, mni and two others, to seek advocacy and collaboration between DPR and the institute.
The Director/CEO reassured the visitors of his commitment to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, for the overriding interest of National Security.
The commandant presented the DPR CEO with three books on National Security policy; “In Search of Peace And Security in Africa, Piracy In The Gulf of Guinea and African Journal for Security and Development” in addition to a plague, in recognition of the CEO’S innovation in the Nigeria Oil and Gas industry since his assumption of duty as DPR’S helmsman.
In the spirit of reciprocity, Engr. Ssrki Auwalu presented the Commandant with a copy of “The Manual of Oil and Gas Laws & Regulations”, to deepen stakeholders understanding of DPR’S role as a “Business Enabler and Opportunity Provider” for the Nigerian oil and gas value-chain.
