The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) is currently organising a technical workshop at EKO Hotels & Suites Lagos,
to sensitize operators in the Nigerian Oil and gas industry on the importance of compliance with the Federal Government’s NATIONAL PRODUCTION MONITORING SYSTEM (NPMS).

In his welcome remarks; the representative of the Head Upstream Monitoring and Regulations Division of the Department, Mr. Akpomudjere Okiemute (Assistant Director Resources Management, Upstream Division) enjoined all operators to comply with Government’s directive on the new policy.

In his presentation titled: “National Production Monitoring System Workshop on Operator Compliance”, Mr. Umar Hassan Hadejia (Systems Analyst, DPR ICT) Provided a hands on skill approach to solving all concerns raised by the Operators on the NPMS.

Mr. Victor George’son (Petroleum Engineer DPR Upstream) thanked all the operators for their participation and assured them of the Department’s commitment to provide technical support to all stakeholders were necessary.
