The Deputy Director, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Division, Department of Petroleum Resources Dr. Musa Zagi and Mr. Paul Osu, Head Public Affairs of the DPR were the guest speakers on the DPR HALF HOUR PROGRAM.
The focus of today’s program was on “The 18th International Biennial Conference on the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria” scheduled to hold from the 26th – 28th of November, 2018 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Dr. Musa Zagi emphasized on the objectives of the conference which includes: making sure oil operations are done safely; environments are conserved; and community issues are addressed.
Mr Paul Osu mentioned the key stakeholders for the conference which includes the Minister of Petroleum, the Department of Petroleum Resources, the Oil and Gas Industry Operators consisting of Independent Marketers, Students and NGO’s .
There will also be provisions for exhibition stands at the conference for Manufacturers and Technological Vendors, Analytical Laboratories, Oil Service Companies etc.
Dr. Musa Zagi concluded by mentioning the possible outcome to be expected from the conference.
