The Director/CEO, DPR Engr Auwalu Sarki received the President, Nigeria Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association, Mr Nuhu Yakubu and his Executive team on a courtesy visit to DPR Head office, Abuja on Wednesday.

The NLPGA President stated that the reason for the visit was to congratulate the Director/CEO on the numerous achievements witnessed in the oil and gas industry under his stewardship and for the gigantic effort of moving the DPR Headquarters from Lagos to Abuja.

The President further stated that their visit was to build on the working relationship already established between the DPR and the association and to foster ways of collaboration to make cleaner and safer gas available to Nigerians as we are in the “Decade of Gas”.

Engr. Sarki Auwalu in his response stated that DPR is home to all Oil and Gas stakeholders and always ready to provide support for investors.

He further reiterated DPR’s commitments to ensuring development of gas buisness through the service instruments of licences, permits and approvals to create enabling business environment and providing opportunities in the oil and gas sector.

He assured the association of DPR’s continuous engagement with them and other stakeholders for the growth and sustainability of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.
